The Takashi Tour Packages are well-known for its numerous waterfalls including the famous Courtallam Falls. Do you want to know the Best Places to visit in Tenkasi? Have a look:

Courtallam – Here is a beautiful, realistic place slightly away from Tenkasi. Honey & Shenbagadevi are the other subs falls that include 9 other falls located in Courtallam. Moreover, the place also has the Kutralanther temple, a gorgeous temple of Lord Shiva. Several branches fall in Kutralam flowing from the mountaintop. The place also has two significant falls, such as Main falls & Small falls. The falls house the medicinal qualities from the top of the mountains.

Kasi Viswanathar Temple – The ruling god is Lord Shiva in the Kasi Viswanathar, with his ensemble Parvati as Ulagamman. The ancient histories reveal that the temple has pride in housing self-forming deities. As the name suggests, it is recognized as Kasi of the south, so revered shrines here similarly worship Shiva in Kasi. It also constitutes the beautiful statues of Lord Murugan & other sub deities. It has a musical stone pillar in which each dome produces different sounds when tapped. It consists of wonderfully carved twin statues of Thirumal, Nataraja, & Kali Devi. This temple celebrates all annual festivals & special Pooja wonderfully.

Karuppa Nathi Dam – The place is the earthen dam which is located 27 kilometers away from Tenkasi at Chokkampatti village. It is under the foothills of Western Ghats & built over the Karuppanadhi River. The dam has 2 sluice gates to pass dazed water. During the monsoon season, the dam provides an awful ambiance. A lush green garden covers the dam. It is unbelievable to look at the panoramic view of this dam from the road. It took more than 5 years to construct Karuppa Nathi Dam.

Thirumalapuram Cave temples – This temple holds 2 sub-temples carved out of rock. The Pandya Kings built the temple in their reign. The other temple is incredible and houses the rectangular Ardha-Mandapa. It has a flight of steps & cells on the west sidewall. Moreover, the temple has a monolithic Nandi statue in a broken state facing the presiding deity, Shiva linga in the middle of the temple.
